The centre runs a wide range of curriculum-related and extra-curricular activities and clubs as well as sports and physical education programmes.
The purpose of these activities is to give ample opportunities to as many students as possible to develop skills that will not show or be seen in the classroom. They also go a long way in making the school a stimulating and attractive place for students. Materi supports extra-curricular programmes that augment and strengthen the academic, cultural, social, athletic and religious development of the students. Programs that are service-oriented, community-building and performance-oriented are clearly preferred to those with a purely social purpose. The school timetable is so arranged to encourage and make possible for students to join more than one extra-curricular activity.
